OMFG Britney Sang "You Oughta Know" Allegedly Live

People who go to Youtube, message boards or any other blogs have notice that Britney performed Alanis Morisetts "You Oughta Know" on her tour stop in Greensboro.

So once Britney concert goers uploaded their video on Youtube everything got crazy.

You know why, right?

For those who don't know: There's another female singer who sings this exact song on every concert of her current world tour. Coinicidence? Not really. It's not they don't know about each other.

How do you feel about that knowing this stuff? Is Britney a jacking bitch now? Is it fine because she can cover whatever song she likes?

Now let me get this straight: Britney Spears sang a song Beyoncé sings on her I Am...Tour on regular basis.

So what did happen if Beyoncé was the one "stealing" the song. Yep, people would call her a thief.

Is that fair? No. Definitely not.

But those silly ridiculous things aside the funniest thing about it is that people , e.g. Britney lovers, praise her because they THINK (there's no proof since the quality is crappy) she sang it live. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Singing live is something you should always do. I can be okay if you dance like crazy so it would be too hard to catch breath but come on it's no secret Britney doesn't sing live.

So now people make a big deal out of something which goes without saying.

But seriously WHY DID BRITNEY SING THIS SONG?

Vocally and performing wise she looses it against Beyoncé anyway.

Ok, somebody tell me why people actually go to her show when she is only lipsyncing? It's not like she's dancing her ass of through the whole song.

I came across this article by Starpulse and thought it'd be worth posting it here.

Keri Hilson
Her ridiculous tribute to Michael Jackson at the BET Awards in June sealed the deal - the girl can't sing a lick. Fortunately, the King of Pop was not there to see the painfully corny, out of breath, and off-key "tribute" to his genius. (She chanted "Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson" in the middle of "Knock You Down" and did not dance but struck random poses instead.) Keri Hilson was a behind-the-scenes type artist before the release of In a Perfect World..., writing songs for the likes of Britney Spears and Ciara. In a Perfect World, Ms. Hilson would have kept it that way.







Kanye West



Kanye, Kanye, Kanye. His most recent album brought tears to the eyes of many. What we hoped would be an emotional and insightful reflection on his life, his dealing with the death of his mother was instead a whiny, sickeningly emo lamentation over his breakup with Alexis Pheifer. It should have been awesome, it was instead pathetic. Even with the help of autotune, it was still clear that underneath the vocal manipulations, Kanye did not sing one single not on key. Our boy should stick to rapping and realize that he can't do everything well!







Cassie



The mystery of whether Cassie could actually sing or not was quickly put to bed with an embarrassingly dreadful performance of "Me & You" on "106 and Park." Since then, we have seen almost one of her on the charts, save for her thankfully small contribution on Ryan Leslie's "Addiction" last year. Her lack of talent is enough to make anyone suspicious on how she even got a record deal. It might have something to do with the fact that >Diddy was, well, Diddying her if you catch our drift!







Ciara



It is extremely fortunate that she can dance, because Ciara only sings a few notes per song. Just listen to her music. On Her very first hit, "Goodies," she sings exactly one note for most of the track. How is that possible? There is little else to say. You have to hear it for yourself.







Britney Spears



Ms. Spears is an obvious choice, being notorious for her lip-synching. Her voice is tweaked by so many computers, it is doubtful that we have ever heard what she truly sounds like. Her singing is a combination of moaning and whispering, instead of actual note hitting. But damn can this girl entertain. Her tunes are catchy and she knows how to put on a show. Though it would be nice to have a pop superstar who can sing as well as she can perform, America has accepted Britney as its favorite popstar. In the end, it really doesn't matter if she can carry a tune or not.







Madonna



Madge is another one of America's favorite popstars. She's been around for so long, but certainly not because we adore the sound of her voice. The girl could never sing. She squeaked and shrieked through her hits like "Borderline" in the 80s, and today, she can barely even whisper a tune. Justin Timberlake stole her shine in the 2008 hit "4 Minutes." Madonna's wavering voice was barely there, so much that it sounded like she was reciting bad spoken word instead of singing. In her recent single, "Celebration," she just sounds tired. Her voice is weak. Perhaps if she spent less time pumping iron, and more time strengthening her voice, she wouldn't sound as weak and wishy-washy as she does on her tracks today.







Rihanna



Rihanna is another popstar who is just a pretty face. The way she stomps around the stage makes one hope that she can at least make up for her lack of stage presence with a powerhouse voice. But alas, when she sings it sounds as if someone is holding her nose as she tries to make her ears pop.

Great and particularly true list. Whoever took the time to write this article is right.

When it comes to Rihanna's example I would have posted the incredible Hero performance she once did.

Oh, and I liked "808s and Heartbreak" a lot!

Britney NOT to perform at the TCA!

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Britney Spears will appear on Monday’s Teen Choice Awards, the star announced in an updated post on her Web site.

The site initially announced on Thursday morning that she would perform on the show. Following the initial announcement, a rep for the ceremony told Access Hollywood that the pop princess would not be performing.
However, show reps did confirm Britney will be honored with the Ultimate Choice Award at the show, where she’s nominated for Choice Music: Single, for her song “Circus,” Choice Music: Female Artist and Choice Music: Tour. Britney will break from her European tour to make the ceremony, which airs Monday at 8 PM ET on FOX.

That's messed up. How can you make such a mistake? I know many are disappointed by this. You still can look forward her VMA performance.

Them teens will probably eat her lipsynced performance. It's her luck the award show is taped one day before it will broadcasted.

The show airs on Monday at 8pm on FOX.

Furthermore, she was also added to the line-up for the Video Music Awards for which she got 7 nominations. MTV seems to adore Brit or they are just hoping for another disaster as happened in 2007 when Britney tried - well I'm not sure if she really tried - to put on a show when "singing" "Gimme More".
