Amazing Review on Beyoncé's Show in Las Vegas Part II

Part II

This show was soooooooo great, that even though she cut the show down to 90 minutes, and even though she left off a lot of songs, the songs she DID perform were SO AMAZINGLY PERFORMED, that you didn't even remember what she left out!!

It was hard enough trying to keep up with what she was doing, because unlike her previous shows, she didn't really stop. I mean she was singing back-to-back-to-back-to back. I think she only changed costumes like 3 times the whole night. She was on stage for most of the entire show, just wowing us all with her vocals and stage presence.

I wish that I could've brought you all to Vegas with me to Enjoy this show, but THANKFULLY this is where they made the DVD so it's like you all will be there!!! November can not come soon enough! It's so funny, after the show they were selling Beyoncé's album, Obsessed, and tour books. People thought that they'd already finished the DVD and were like " IS THIS WHAT WE SAW TONIGHT!!!!" The people selling stuff were like " Clearly no, the DVD has to be edited and put together..." Then the customers were like " "

Beyoncé really tailored her show to Vegas, she even had a part during the show where some of her dancers were tap dancing, and they were GREAT!!!

She told the history of Destiny's Child, through song!! It was so tight she was like " In 1990 we learned our very first song..." then she performed "I wanna be where you are, oh oh!!! Anywhere you are oh oooh!'

Then she STOPPED and was like "STOP...Beyoncé I HEAR SNOT IN YOUR NOSE...I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO SWIMMING..." she was like "that was my dad, who stopped our audition and MORTIFIED US...he told Columbia Records that we weren't ready and sorry to have wasted their time..." Then she went on, "So we got it together and got to perform on star search!! But we lost" then the music said "womp womp woooomp"

She then went on and said, "We got focused again, and landed us a record deal with Elektra Records " Then the Mama's said "Oooh it's the lights!! Action!! Hollywood " Then Beyoncé said "But we got dropped " the music once again said "womp womp wooomp" and the crowd was cracking up!

Then she was like "oh but in 1995 we signed a deal with Columbia Records and in 1997 we put out our first single..." then she went into a performance of the SLOW version of No NO NO!! She didn't actually sing it though, her and 3 dancers (just like the Original Destiny's Child) danced and I think B ad-libbed a little. Then she performed the fast version. It was tight. Then she talked about their success and the hits, then she was like "but it wasn't enough to keep the group from breaking up " which was the first time she EVER acknowledged that the Original Members of Destiny's Child broke up! Before she would just say "we didn't break up, we had a change in the group..."


Then she was like, "and then there were 2...and soon 4 again" and she performed Say My Name and Jumpin Jumpin. Then she talked about how people were calling DC gold diggers and this and that, she said she went in to write the demo to Independent Women. She said "my father stole the demo and took it to Sony Pictures...WHY did he do that!? Well I guess he was right...QUESTION?!" Performs Independent Women.

Then she talked about how people were joking about Surivor, then she sang that. Then she talked about how she was feeling the Stevie Nicks sample, she was tired of people calling her fat, and then she went into Bootylicious...

She did a really good job narrating and transitioning between the songs, explaining the history and everything.

When she performed Resentment, she came off the stage and sat down on the steps. She talked about how she'd never performed Resentment live before, and then she TORE IT UP!!

There's so much that I'm leaving out, but that's the gist of everything that went down. She killed everything, I was never disappointed with anything!

Can not WAIT for this DVD!!!

OH YEAH AND SHE PERFORMED WORK IT OUT!!
